Prana Yoga YYC is a heart-led, boutique yoga practice founded and run by María, a dedicated instructor with over 5 years of experience teaching in the Calgary community. Rooted in the principles of mindfulness and connection, Prana Yoga YYC offers a welcoming space where students are encouraged to explore movement, breath, and presence at their own pace. María’s teaching style is centered on fostering deep self-awareness and compassion, helping each practitioner uncover the beauty of the present moment. Maria is a wonderful instructor who always brings positive energy to her classes. She offers plenty of modifications for different levels, making her classes welcoming to both beginners and experienced practitioners. What I especially appreciate is that she doesn’t just guide you through yoga poses as a workout—she also encourages you to connect with your inner self and focus on overall wellness.
